Unless stated otherwise in writing, quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued.
Prices may exclude GST, delivery, artwork preparation, urgent production, installation, third-party costs, or other project-specific charges unless these items are clearly stated in the quote.
An order is accepted when Identifi confirms the order in writing, receives required approval, receives payment where required, or begins production based on your instruction.
You are responsible for providing accurate order details, including product specifications, quantities, dimensions, materials, wording, artwork, delivery details and required dates.
Identifi is not responsible for delays, additional costs or production issues caused by incomplete, inaccurate or late information supplied by the customer.
Where artwork, layouts, proofs or production files are required, Identifi may provide a proof for review and approval before production.
You are responsible for checking all details carefully before approval, including spelling, wording, numbers, codes, symbols, layout, colours, sizes, quantities and product specifications.
Once a proof is approved, Identifi may begin production. Changes requested after approval may result in extra costs, revised timelines, or the need to remake products at the customer’s expense.
Identifi is not responsible for errors that appear in approved artwork, approved proofs, or customer-supplied files.
Where you provide artwork, drawings, logos, diagrams, specifications, spreadsheets, names, asset numbers, codes or other content, you confirm that the information is accurate and that you have the right to provide and use that material.
Customer-supplied files should be provided in a suitable format and quality for production. If files require formatting, conversion, cleanup, redrawing, correction or preparation, additional costs may apply.
Many Identifi products are custom manufactured to order. This may include custom text, sizes, colours, materials, layouts, fixing methods, logos, numbering, coding or project-specific requirements.
Because custom products are made to approved specifications, they may not be cancelled, returned or refunded simply due to change of mind once production has started.
This does not limit any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.
Identifi may provide guidance on materials, engraving methods and product options based on the information you provide.
You are responsible for confirming that selected products are suitable for the intended use, environment, installation method, compliance requirement and project specification.
Material suitability may depend on exposure, heat, chemicals, moisture, UV, cleaning methods, fixing method, surface type, handling and other operating conditions.
Where a specific standard, regulation, project specification or site requirement applies, you must tell Identifi before ordering.
Production timeframes depend on product type, material availability, quantity, artwork approval, production complexity and current workload.
Standard orders may be completed faster than custom or large-volume orders. Any timeframe provided is an estimate unless Identifi confirms a fixed deadline in writing.
Production timeframes usually begin after all required details, approvals and payments have been received.
Urgent orders may be accepted at Identifi’s discretion. Additional fees may apply for priority production, expedited materials, express delivery or after-hours work.
Acceptance of an urgent order does not guarantee delivery by a requested date unless confirmed in writing.
Orders may be collected from Identifi or delivered using courier, freight, postal or other delivery services.
Delivery costs, timeframes and methods may vary depending on order size, weight, destination and urgency.
Risk in the products passes to the customer once the products are collected by the customer, collected by a courier, or dispatched from Identifi, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Identifi is not responsible for courier delays, failed delivery attempts, incorrect delivery details supplied by the customer, or damage caused after dispatch.
You should inspect all products as soon as possible after collection or delivery.
Any issue with quantity, damage, visible defect or order mismatch should be reported to Identifi within 5 business days of receipt.
Where possible, please provide photos, order details and a clear description of the issue so the matter can be reviewed.
Payment terms will be stated in the quote, invoice or written order confirmation.
Identifi may require full payment, partial payment or deposit before production begins, especially for custom orders, large orders, new customers or urgent production.
All invoices must be paid by the due date stated on the invoice.
If payment is overdue, Identifi may pause production, delay delivery, withhold goods, suspend further work, charge reasonable recovery costs, or take other lawful steps to recover outstanding amounts.
Cancellation or change requests must be made in writing as soon as possible.
If production has not started, Identifi may accept the cancellation or change without additional production costs, although artwork, administration, ordering or material costs may still apply.
If production has started, the customer may be required to pay for work completed, materials ordered, production time used, and any reasonable costs already incurred.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, replaces or removes any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.
If products or services do not meet applicable consumer guarantees, you may be entitled to a remedy such as repair, replacement, refund or other remedy required by law.
Identifi may assess the product, order details, approved proof, intended use, installation conditions and supplied specifications before confirming the appropriate remedy.
Identifi is not required to provide a remedy where a problem is caused by misuse, incorrect installation, unsuitable product selection by the customer, unauthorised modification, normal wear and tear, failure to follow instructions, or use outside the agreed purpose.
Minor variations may occur in materials, colours, engraving finish, surface texture, dimensions, thickness, cut marks, batch appearance or layout alignment.
Such variations may occur due to manufacturing processes, material batches, supplier tolerances, engraving methods, screen display differences or the nature of custom production.
Identifi will take reasonable care to manufacture products according to approved specifications, but minor variations that do not materially affect use may not be treated as defects.
Unless agreed in writing, Identifi does not provide installation services.
Customers are responsible for correct installation, fixing, placement, maintenance and use of supplied products.
Products should be installed using suitable methods for the surface, environment and intended application.
Identifi is not responsible for damage, failure or safety issues caused by incorrect installation, unsuitable fixing methods, poor surface preparation, third-party handling or use outside the intended purpose.
Customers are responsible for confirming any legal, regulatory, safety, site, project or industry requirements that apply to their order.
Identifi may manufacture products according to supplied specifications, but does not accept responsibility for confirming whether a product satisfies all project, engineering, safety or regulatory requirements unless this has been expressly agreed in writing.
If compliance wording, colours, symbols, codes, numbering or formats are required, these must be supplied or approved by the customer before production.
All website content, product images, text, graphics, designs, layouts, icons, branding and other materials on this website are owned by or licensed to Identifi unless stated otherwise.
